Councillor Norman Harris

I have enjoyed my 14 years as a Borough Councillor and take pride in my achievements on behalf of Nork residents. As you Know, we exist to serve the interests of all residents. We are neither answerable to, nor influenced by, any political party. We believe that party politics are best left out of local government.

Biography

• A resident in Nork over 20 years
• Born in East London and educated at the Sir George Monoux Grammar School
• Served in the Royal Air Force, obtained a commission and flew over 1000hrs as a navigator.
• Played football for Spurs and Southampton. Cricket and Athletics for Essex
• Very keen gardener and current holder of Banstead Horticultural Society's Dahlia Cup.
• A Sales Manager until retirement.
• Secretary of the Nork Residents' Company Ltd since it was formed in 1988.
• Governor of Warren Mead County Infants School
